OBJECTIVE
I plan to address the hierarchy, typography, and tone of voice found in the current identity system. By addressing these areas, I hope to be able to bring a clear mission and a tone of voice to the City Flea brand identity.
A new identity system will be created and presented in a range of applications. The versatility of these applications in format and scale will showcase the new identity system’s success. The applications that will be created are: a wayfinding system, merchandise, and packaging.

RESEARCH
In order to address the issues in the previous brand identity, I took the time to research the event’s current identity, mission statement, and history. The majority of this research is present in my brand book.
The 513 City Flea is an original curated market that advocates for Cincinnati through supporting small businesses and keeping dollars local.
mission statement
The City Flea is targeted toward Cincinnati residents and small business owners who are interested in arts and crafts (ages 16-65).
target audience
We see the 513 City Flea as an ally of the Cincinnati community, bringing vendors and consumers together in support of their city. Inspired by our passionate local vendors, City Flea aims to empower small businesses through providing a place where they can connect with the community.

FINAL LOGO CONCEPT
EGD ELEMENTS
In order to understand how all of the elements would work together in the actual space, I strategically placed way-finding elements to lead attendees through the market.
The EGD elements I designed for City Flea are a welcome photo arch, vendor spotlight, and aisle markers.
